Church Bazaar and Community Summer Festival Parking Safety
The summer is a great time of year because it lets you enjoy the outdoors. Nicer weather means more time to spend outside. It is also this time of year when churches hold their annual bazaars, or communities have their annual summer festivals.
These are the types of community events that get everyone out to enjoy food, games, entertainment, and each other’s company. Live bands will play well into the evening– while children play games, eat ice cream, and get their faces painted.
Although these festivals and bazaars can be full of fun, one must remember safe parking practices. As unfortunate as it is, even if you are in a church or community parking lot, you never know what kind of thief might take the opportunity to break into your vehicle. Therefore, always remember to keep your doors locked, your windows rolled up, and your valuables hidden from plain sight. This way, would-be thieves won’t think your vehicle is a target of opportunity.
